The morpho butterfly's wings change color between blue, green, and teal and the reasons we chose the morpho butterfly as our logo are three-fold. First, teal is the color of healing, recovery and PTSD awareness. Blue is the color of human trafficking awareness and support of law enforcement in their efforts to combat injustice and keep the peace. The third reason we chose the butterfly is because it's symbolic in the journey of a survivor; through trauma and a sort of metamorphosis (which may take a very long time, everyone is different), a survivor grows into a changed and resilient individual.
